Wear with pride

The unity of the Lions is something that has always struck a chord with us at Tyrwhitt, so we're thrilled to be their official menswear partner! To launch our new collection and celebrate the partnership, we've got four iconic Lions alumni from each nation to wear their favourite piece. Just like these legends, you can show your support for the team this tour in the sharpest fan gear out there.

Gregor Townsend

A cutaway collar has wider collar points that are angled outwards instead of pointing down. It suits men with slim or long faces, or anyone who appreciates a modern twist to traditional attire. Team the cutaway collar with a full or half Windsor tie knot, among the easiest tie knots to master. This collar can also be worn without a tie.

Matt Dawson

This is our most traditional collar shape, and a staple of the Tyrwhitt shirt collection. While the classic collar is particularly flattering for larger faces, it will suit all shapes and sizes. This collar looks dashing with a four-in-hand tie knot, however almost any tie knot will sit beautifully.

Matt Dawson

Matt has 77 caps for England and is known and loved for many TV appearances, but Lions-wise, he is a three times tourist and he went down in folklore when throwing a try-scoring dummy against South Africa in 1997, plus he went on to win the world cup in 2003. As our ambassador, Matt loves a Hybrid Gilet, and this one's even better with the iconic Lions emblem.

Gregor Townsend

Gregor played for the Lions on the 1997 tour and also served as an attack coach in 2021. With 85 caps for Scotland, he represents his country to this day as the current Scottish head coach since 2017. Gregor adds a bit of summery colour to his outfit with our Lions Pique Polo in a fresh spearmint green.

Sam Warburton

Sam is only one of two players to have captained the Lions on more than one tour. With 75 caps for Wales and over 100 for Cardiff, he's now a beloved pundit, and you can catch his coverage on Sky Sports. Sam wears our Lions Performance Merino Zip-neck with our Ultimate Chinos and suede Derby shoes for an easy smart-casual look
